Meeting Safely

When you plan to meet someone from Kind Quests for the first time, we encourage you to:

• Meet in a public place — choose a well-lit, busy location for first meetups, such as a coffee shop, park, or public venue.
• Tell someone you trust — let a friend or family member know where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be back.
• Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it is okay to leave. You do not owe anyone an explanation.
• Keep personal details private — avoid sharing your home address, precise workplace, or other sensitive location information before you feel comfortable.
• Stay sober — meeting a new person is easier and safer when you are alert and in control.
• Have your own transportation — arrange your own way to and from the meetup for flexibility and independence.

Kind Quests does not conduct background checks on users. Always use your own judgment.

Reporting and Blocking

You can report or block another user directly within the app. Reporting and blocking options are available from any profile, quest, offer, message, or context menu.

• Block — permanently removes someone from your feed and prevents all interaction.
• Report — submits a concern for review. You can report a profile, quest, offer, or message. Reports are submitted immediately for review.

Privacy and Location

Kind Quests uses your location to show you nearby quests. We do not display your precise GPS coordinates to other users — only a general neighborhood or city is shown in the discovery feed.

Profile photos are blurred in the discovery feed and are only revealed after both parties agree to connect. This is designed to keep the focus on the quest, not the profile.

You can revoke location permission at any time in your device Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we use your data.

Phone Verification

Every Kind Quests account is verified with a phone number via one-time SMS code. Phone verification is required to use the app and is designed to help reduce anonymous and abusive accounts. It is not a substitute for user judgment.

Child Safety
